After 18 years in the basement of Space 28 North Lotts, Dublin 1 Loop Studios will be moving on. As many of you are already aware as of 31st of December 2017 Loop studios will be closing the doors on it’s current premises and moving to a new location.
The exact date of opening and location of Loops new facility I cannot reveal just yet. However I can say that it’s going to be something special when completed sometime in 2018. I’ll make sure to let everyone know via a large marketing campaign closer to the time.
In the meantime Loops equipment/backline hire service will still be running as will Loops mixing and mastering services. So if you require any of those services you can still contact us via email and we’ll sort it out for you.
The Bloody Quills have been confirmed to play at this years Electric Picnic. Busy working on album 2 in Loop Studios the band take a break in early September to dust off their festival chops and play The Trailer Park Stage. Expect something very Rock and Roll!
In January 2015 ‘Reality Pop & The Skip Generation’ by Liam Noonan & The Bloody Quills was released digitally. There is a vinyl pressing scheduled for early in 2016 along with other titles recorded at LOOP Studios. Including ‘New World Disorder’ by The Hanging Prophets and the first self titled Bloody Quills record.

More recently Liam has been in recording an E.P. with Lousie Gear. We’ll posts link to listen to it as soon as it’s completely. It is shaping up to be a very good record indeed and another from the studio that we’re really proud of.
