It’s been a while in the making but The Hanging Prophets album ‘New World Disorder’ is finally here. Lovingly crafted over a number of years featuring some special guests the record is now available as a Vinyl release.
Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Gareth Desmond in Loop Studios it is a record we are really proud of…and in our opinion alone is worth a purchase if only to read the inserts! The reason we say this is that the lyrics penned by Charlie Ross are masterfully written and magickal in the way they conjure up images, places, times, belief systems, politics and people and provoke your imagination with subjects ranging from mankinds love for the nuclear bomb to the genocide of the native American indian all the way to the failing ideology of “The American Dream” . These truely are songs of the zeitgeist.
So if you like Bowie, The Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd, The Who, The Damned, The Stranglers, Neil Young or The Dead Kennedys and are interested in the captainless ship that sails the sea of conspiracy this record could be for you.
‘New World Disorder’ is now available on Double Gatefold vinyl. Artwork designed by the legendary Mike Coles (Malicious Damage) the package contains a free CD of the album and can be purchased instore at Tower Records, Spindizzy, Freebird and Rage Records in Dublin.
